With more than 40 kilometres of cycle paths, the station stamped «bike reception» offers visitors multiple opportunities for discovery. Les Landes is crossed by 163 km of cycle paths, the longest route in France.
Cycling enthusiasts will appreciate this beautiful route that follows the coastline and criss-crosses the city. The slopes are numerous.
Here’s an example: for a fun family-friendly ride, head from the city centre, Avenue Paul Lahary towards the beach and pedal safely on the dedicated lanes. Nose to the wind, enjoy the beautiful landscapes that are offered to you! Small bucolic and shady roads, lined with beautiful Basco-Landes villas (avenue de la Côte d'Argent), will lead you to the seafront.
Make a first stop at the Gravière area, the ocean and the dune cordon are worth a visit! Then walk along the coast, two possible choices: continue to the north, towards Seignosse, for a more sporting route or leave to the south to make a loop, towards the port of Capbreton. On the Capbreton side, arrived at Notre-Dame, take the Quai du Bouret along the harbour, the passage is very beautiful. At the first roundabout of Hossegor, take avenue Brémontier, a few pedals to reach the centre.
For a vacation without a car, the option «bike in Hossegor» will allow you to stretch your legs while discovering the riches of the oceanic city during a friendly and sporty visit!
